Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids - Mesa, AZ is a full service salon looking to immediately bring on upbeat and energetic stylists to join our busy squad! At Sharkey’s, our salon is the definition of FUN and you should be too!
We’re on a mission to WOW our guests from the moment they arrive for their appointment, to well after they leave with their fresh new cut. We’re into the details of what we do and our ideal candidate takes pride in the same. Our success is measured by our clients coming back, parents referring us to others, and the smiles on our clients faces.
Our ideal candidate:
Must have a natural smile and upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettably fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our clients, children and parents
Ability to listen to and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction
Is able to professionally execute expert hair cutting, shampooing, styling, etc for children, men and women.
Willingness to deliver the highest level of service in a fast-paced environment
Educate clients on benefits of retail products
Must be highly motivated and love working with children
Compensation and benefits our stylists receive:
Above market pay up to $12-$25/hour (hourly base rate, tips and product commissions)
Sign-on bonus of $300 to qualified applicants
No late hours or overtime
Encouraging management
Appointments with stylist requests
Clean and organized work environment in a well established retail center
Voted # 1 kids salon for ages 0 – 14
Required License/Certification:
State-Approved Cosmetology License
