This position requires previous experience in customer and technical support over the phone or via email. The candidate will spend time explaining and resolving all customers questions related to company products. In addition, is responsible for all RMA's troubleshooting, testing and repairs; assisting with assemblies if needed. Lastly, the individual will work in conjunction with both the Sales and Engineering departments in providing assistance with any technical support or special projects as necessary.
Answer and troubleshoot all incoming technical support questions by both phone and email.
Conduct testing and repairs on returned, under warranty products.
Oversee receiving inspections of RMA incoming products.
Assist with maintenance of in-house machinery, equipment, and systems.
Keep digital log reports of all work, whether in progress or completed.
Work directly with the Sales and Engineering Department on any technical questions or special build requests.
Follow up with all open customer service issues.
Undertake additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Capable of reading schematics.
Ability to repair boards at component level.
Ability to solder surface mount components.
Aptitude in using various hand tools, test equipment (Variable power supply, multimeter, oscilloscope)
Ability to read, write and revise, work instructions.
Ability to follow established procedures and practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Very little traveling required.
